‘ULL-TRA Fest is here

Grab the chance to see some of the country’s biggest bands before they hit the big time.

It’s this weekend! ‘ULL-TRA Festival is the first two-day festival at The Adelphi and will see some of the UK’s biggest emerging acts take to its hallowed stage.

Organised by ‘Ulltra Productions, aka Mark Sinfield and Jamie Gambino, the duo have put their heart and soul into showcasing how important music is to Hull, and they want the festival to leave a lasting legacy. “We’ve been looking at other cities and their music events, such as Live@Leeds, and we need people to realise that Hull is just as important and deserves great music,” says Mark. “We thought, ‘Can We Do It?’, and it’s taken us about a year and a lot of sleepless nights, but we really hope this will be a great festival.”

With a passion for emerging music, the duo joined forces in order to put on ‘Ulltra Festival. While Mark admittedly began “late in the game”, having started putting on music events in 2012, Jamie has had success promoting several Australian bands.
