Description

The Tour is promoting You Love Us single released by Heavenly in May 1991.
The song was the last ever performed live with missing guitarist and lyricist Richey James Edwards. As a foursome the band played the song as set-closer for their sell-out final gig at the London Astoria just five weeks before Edwards vanished.

Every gig has a poster. A few have been provided by record companies or promoters but most were made in-house with photocopies, letraset and pritt stick. Copied onto coloured paper in the 80’s. Inkjet cut and paste in the early 90s. The digital composition thereafter, for use on the website.

Nearly all the bands were under the media radar when they booked The Adelphi. Some about to launch their first singles, The LA’s, The Stone Roses, Oasis, and many without a record contract, PJ Harvey, Green Day or The Housemartins. The same carefree spit and sawdust approach was delivered to them all courtesy of The A Team.

Nobody is claiming every poster was a work of art, but if you was in the crowd you may want a little slice of local history and to add a few quid to the club coffers in the process.
