The brainchild of Dr Alex Paterson – former Killing Joke roadie, member of Kill Bloodsports, and an employee of EG Records – The Orb were at the forefront of the development of ambient house with the euphoria-inducing sounds that have made them international club favourites. Formed in London in 1989 during the birth of the rave movement, and initially founded on a mutual love of Brian Eno and German electronics, The Orb operates with a flexible line-up of contributors.

As we head towards the chills of the Autumn -time we are delighted to present to you the warming treats and psychedelic sounds of The Orb Sound System. Expect ambient beats early on from 7pm with a leisurely Sunday stroll through the classic electronic worlds and dimensions of time and space…slowly building up to an epic finale of truly modern soundscapes that will see you off to your bed just in time for ‘Little Fluffy Clouds’ and dreams of the past, present and future.
