Gamma Rave
We welcome back the really rather ace GAMMA RAVE to the Adelphi… they blew the pop socks off Fast & Bulbous 2024 and we can’t wait for them to do the same for their own headline show this time around.

Live electronica is Gamma Rave’s basic mission statement, the latest project from Will Harwood (Gadje Scum), Sanne Werkers (Brazzmatazz, Den Hoed Music), Jonas Nyaarr (Idealus Maximus, GoToEleven) and Geert de Waegeneer (Thou, BOMA Studio).

The group aims to bring dance-floor-filling electronic dance music to the live circuit, taking a fresh approach to the genre by combining the synthetic tones of electronica with the more raw style of punk.

If anything, the band is as much “live” as they are “electronic”, with a dynamic sound that is constantly shifting in style and mood. Songs often fade in on a sinister trip-hop groove, before flowing into a hip-hop flavoured build, and then finally breaking out into a screaming Drum & Bass climax. A healthy dose of dub, dubstep, rock, and techno, also helps to keep the songs fresh and surprising.

Having shared stages with the likes of Asian Dub Foundation, Moon Hooch and Dub Pistols, as well as having played a closing set at the Gentse Feesten and multiple tours of the UK (including the prestigious Boomtown Fair), Gamma Rave has all the makings of a dance-floor shaking spectacle.

Moose Wrench
Moose wrench are described as “dad-bod alt-core” — a blend of alt-metal, absurdity, and existential humor. From their home in Leeds, they bring the chaos and humor of Mr. Bungle, Primus, Melvins, and Ween.

Their music tackles life’s toughest problems (like bad driving and man flu), with the energy of a band that’s been through it all.

City of Glass

Electro-pop; dance-rock, post-punk mash up is where City Of Glass reside….with a few surprises on top. Hull, and now, Scunthorpe’s 4 piece (no drummer) return after a hiatus to serve up nagging pop, layers of electronics and art rock guitar all held together by darkly comic idiosyncratic lyrics. Get Behind the City!
