UNION 23 is a cohort of artists and activists from across the north of England who are on a training and coaching programme during 2023. For more information see https://unionarts.org.uk/. During the second weekend of March, the UNION 23 group – including Hull members Liz Dees, Monika Dutta, Sarah Pennington & Lauren Saunders – are exploring local DIY culture and alternative learning initiatives in Hull. We feel the Adelphi is a big part of this story and the perfect place for people to share their own brand of arts and activism – whether music, spoken word/rant, dance, inspirational reading, participatory activity or anything else you’d like to share!
