Those that have followed Folk Radio UK over the years will know we have a big soft spot for Stanley Brinks & Freschard and who can blame us? Combined the duo have a playfulness which impossible to resist, they form a perfect musical union.

Brinks along with The Wave Pictures has already brought us ‘Gin’ earlier this year which Helen noted ‘crackles and sparkles with a joie de vivre which is sadly lacking from all too many of Stanley Brinks and The Wave Pictures’ contemporaries’.

Now Stanley Brinks & Freschard are back again with ‘Pizza Espresso’ an album of love songs about drinking and drinking songs about love. Picture Emmylou and Gram relocated to Berlin with a guitar, a pennywhistle and a washboard and writing ten gorgeous duets to be sung on lazy summer evenings.
