Build is one of a collection of limited edition prints published by the artist, David Storey. Fresh from art college in 1979, Storey joined the team that, under the creative direction of Jerry Dammers, created the graphic identity for cult ska band The Specials and their label 2 Tone. Storey’s work for 2 Tone led to other music industry commissions including the designs celebrated in this collection of prints, for The Housemartins, Blondie, Iggy Pop, and Billy Idol. Storey has made a personal selection from his extensive portfolio of posters, drawn from his record sleeve artwork for the same artistes.
