Judging by their name, one might expect them to be driven by a certain resounding caution, the kind that leads one to take all usual precautions to avoid any risk of injury.

Yet, the energy that inhabits this quartet of teenagers, just like their neighbors the Dynamite Shakers, is anything but hesitant: it wildly unfolds the typical audacity of a disembodied youth whose drive never tires and whose confidence has already fixed and sculpted them in stainless steel within the local Nantes scene, alongside their elders.

These 20th century boys (by reworking the title of their first single, 20th century girl)then they don’t need a parachute, they swim freestyle with instrumental ease, sliding guitars, brisk rhythms, and confident and undeniable vocals, knitting a garage/indie rock that seems to awaken the nascent Arctic Monkeys or the Strokes, without sacrificing the authenticity and freshness of a new generation of which they are the worthy representatives.

Debut Adelphi show for brand new indie rock band from Hull. Taking their cues from Catfish & the Bottlemen, Foo Fighters and Sam Fender. After starting out as a covers band they’ve now developed a full set of original tunes…it’s always exciting to see a band play their 1st show and we look forward to seeing their development starting with this show.
