Musicians Night curated by The Dyr Sister

Musicians Night – our legendary open mic night – is getting a facelift!

Each week we invite a different talented individual to curate the night. They will invite a few of their favourite artists and/or friends to play, and maybe even play a short set themselves, giving each week a unique musical theme and vibe!

This week’s curator is The Dyr Sister, a one-woman band who paints a fascinating canvas of sound. Her original and innovative pieces are influenced by a wide range of genres from jungle and dubstep through trip hop and hip hop and ending somewhere deep amongst the many varieties of traditional folk music from around the world.

Other performers are still welcome to turn up and play, as always. And entry will still be FREE.

Whatever your style or standard, we welcome stand-ups, poets, magicians and all kinds of performers as well as musicians.

Come along and watch some of Hull’s finest and have a go yourself, three songs, poems, readings, rants or dances, the stage is yours.
