Kelley Stoltz is an American songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and DIY innovator whose career stretches back to the late 1990s, when he began self-recording psych-tinged pop and garage rock in his San Francisco home studio. Born in New York City and raised in Michigan, Stoltz has released an extensive catalogue on labels including Sub Pop, Third Man and Castle Face, often playing every instrument himself and earning comparisons to classic ’60s pop auteurs and cult ’80s power-pop and new wave.

Following the release of his 18th album La Fleur in 2024, Stoltz returns in 2026 with his 19th full-length If You Don’t Know Me, Buy Now, continuing his knack for hook-filled psych-pop and richly layered songwriting. Guests include Brigid Dawson (Thee Oh Sees), Karina Denike (Dance Hall Crashers), Pete Straus (The Dwarves) and Allyson Baker (Dirty Ghosts).

A longtime favourite of MOJO and Brooklyn Vegan, Stoltz has also played with Echo & the Bunnymen and Robyn Hitchcock, and now hosts KEXP’s Bay Area spotlight show Vinelands. A UK and European tour is scheduled for October–November 2026.
