Jodie Langford began as an unapologetically Northern spoken word artist who quickly became the go-to voice for the youth within her hometown of Hull, exposing the injustice and plight of young people across the city and further across the nation.

After her long running involvement with high profile agencies, festivals and arts organisations, Jodie began to turn her talents towards the music industry looking for a wider audience to spread her message.

Coupled with her unique voice comes an incredible talent to turn observations of the world around her and her personal experiences into relatable and often funny lyrical content that tackles everything from downing pints, dead-end jobs, the government’s treatment of young people to more personal relationship issues.

Her debut release ‘I Miss It’ dealt with the feelings everyone shared after being cooped up inside during the Covid lockdowns, the silly things we all missed on nights out with your mates and it became an instant hit garnering plays on BBC 6 Music.

Jodie continues to write new music in her unique way, never afraid to expose herself or call out the powers that be and has become a force of nature when she performs live, providing audiences with ferocious, confident, thought-provoking shows and has been described as one of Hull’s best new artists to keep an eye on.

The title ‘Chaos of Time’ is basically a phrase that describes life itself. This EP inspects the complexity of some of the most thought-provoking human feelings such as obsession, heartbreak, exhaustion, fear, anger, despair and nostalgia. Emotions everyone has experienced and can relate to in one way or another.
