JEREMY TUPLIN is a singer-songwriter from Somerset in south-west England. Blending intricate lyricism and storytelling within a soundscape ranging from indie to psychedelic rock to “space-folk”, he released the albums ‘Pink Mirror’ in 2019 and ‘Violet Waves’ in 2020, both on Trapped Animal Records, to widespread acclaim. Alternating playing stripped-back shows and fronting his own band, a cast of delicate and psychedelic supporting musicians, The Sad & Lonely Disco Band, each show is a captivating and unique experience.
2023 sees the arrival of a new concept album. Set to be released in May on Trapped Animal Records: Orville’s Discotheque, set in a world slightly left of reality, tells the story of a flawed disco enthusiast and his romantic travails.
“9/10 – Bill Callahan on shrooms” – The Line Of Best Fit
“9/10 – The craftsmanship is self-effacingly brilliant… some of the year’s most poignant songwriting” – Loud and Quiet Magazine
“8/10 – Tuplin belongs in the lineage of arch dramatists like Tindersticks and The National” – Uncut Magazine
“A dreamy, ambling trip with a smattering of celestial embellishments” – The Independent
“Walking the line between cynicism and wonder is not an easy task, yet Jeremy Tuplin seems to pull this off with ease” – For The Rabbits

SANDRA’S WEDDING – Sandra’s Wedding are a three piece alternative rock group from Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire. They are made up of members Joe Hodgson (Vocals), Jonny Hughes (Guitars) and Luke Harrison (drums). They released their first album physically and digitally on 14 February 2017 entitled Northern Powerhouse. The band’s sound and musical themes address love, loss and life in industrial towns across the North of England, with guitarist Jonny Hughes telling one newspaper that the band try to write songs about things that they can identify with, residing and experiencing life in Northern, working class areas.
“I love it when I find a band name worse than my own” – Guy Garvey, BBC 6 Music
“Yorkshire’s Sandra’s Wedding brilliantly characterize life outside a metropolitan city in modern Britain” – GigSlutz
PETER CAT – Glasgow’s Peter Cat are the quintessential outsider pop band, bringing the restless formal experimentalism of Scott Walker and Frank Zappa together with a modern indie and synth-pop sensibility. Stylistically, they marry woozy, jazz-inflected guitars, warm analog synthesisers and a rhythm section with its roots in the DIY punk scene. Their live performances are energetic, unpredictable, and engaging, buoyed by a Bowie-esque baritone, imaginative lyrics, and dry sense of humour.
“…spindly, jazz-infused guitar lines, diseased ‘80s synths, crisp drum machines, unhinged vocals, and all manner of strange goodies. It is, of course, all rather brilliant too” – I Said Yeah
“an adventurous, left-field songsmith” – Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music
“Features some excellent wordplay, and the finest use of ’cucurbitaceous’ in a pop song in recent memory” – SNACK Magazine
“An intriguing blend of upbeat, art-school, glam rock pop songs with catchy choruses and a fun sense of humour” – Scotland on Sunday
“A nostalgia-inducing glam-pop romp” – The Skinny
