Household Dogs + Fehlt
Household Dogs + Fehlt + special guests.
Leeds-based five-piece Household Dogs bring their 80s post-punk, Americana to the dimly lit corners of The New Adelphi Club on the autumnal winter night of Tuesday 2nd November. Support comes from the equally shadow-ridden and Leeds-based post-punk outfit Fehlt and specials guests to be confirmed.
For almost five years the Leeds’ based quintet have been weaving elements of Alternative Rock, 80s Post Punk, and Americana birthing a timbre of their very own.
Recalling the claustrophobic confines of Bauhaus’s productions and the spacious oblivion of The Cure, Household Dogs create backdrops onto which lyrics paint stark and honest portraits of their enigmatic world.
With a fierce DIY ethic, the outfit continues to craft their sound, writing, recording, mixing, and releasing independently of any external forces. This process gives them complete control over their art, something they show no sign of relinquishing.
After their 2019 debut headline tour, Household Dogs have become synonymous with their taut live performances in which power and vulnerability collide. With notable sets alongside the likes of The Blinders, Giant Rooks, and Jaye Jayle, The Dogs have gone on captivating audiences at the Live at Leeds, Wild Paths, and Reading & Leeds festivals.
October/November 2021 will see Household Dogs release their long-awaited debut EP along with their largest UK tour to date.
