FEUDFEST
A day of independent bands from Hull and the UK
BEDSIT
Comprised of three veterans from Hull’s music scene plus their new protégé bassist, Bedsit pull us through the stages of crisis, grief and ecstasy as fluently as they do musical genres. Grounded in grunge, ranging from hardcore punk to shoegaze, Bedsit’s sound is instinctive, but original.
GUTS.
Fuzzy power-pop from Lincoln. GUTS are no strangers to the Adelphi, but they’re bringing a whole new set to FEUDFEST as their first show of 2024. Joyous, cathartic, and packing some major sing-along choruses; it’s easy to see why they’re hometown heroes and key players on the UK circuit right now.
FREESPIRITS
London-based trio FREESPIRITS are one of the most hard-working bands we know. Relentlessly touring the UK and the US, they still find the time to release new music throughout the year. The band creates fresh sounds by mixing britpop, grunge, and everything in between. If Nirvana and The Verve had a bar brawl, it might sound something like this.
FRAGILE ACTS
Gripping, epic, and flaunting some gorgeous harmonies. In the space of a year, Fragile Acts have developed their modern-rock sound into something unlike anything else on the Hull scene right now. Set to release their debut single on the Forever Underdogs label in the coming months, we’re thrilled to have them on the first FEUDFEST. Watch this space!
THE HEADLESS WAY
Grungy punk rockers from Norwich. With a debut album and follow-up singles already under their belt, The Headless Way deliver a melodic and highly dynamic set which will feel right at home in The Adelphi.
foulmouth.
3-piece post shoegaze / post grunge. Even at an early stage, their sound is truly anthemic. We expect big things to come.
SOAPER
Noisy alt-rock 2-piece from Sleaford. Their first visit to The Adelphi was legendary, and we’re glad to finally have them back. With only two members, the amount of noise Soaper makes has captivated audiences around the UK and Europe.
RUNT
Comprised of some the Hull alternative scene’s most experienced talent, RUNT may be newcomers, but will kick things off with a frantic and accomplished set to get the room moving early on. Don’t be late!
