May brings us the next Smash It Up show of 2019 and we cannot believe what a treat we have for you….DAVE SMALLEY AND THE BANDOLEROS, grace the UK City of Culture with some of their finest punk rock. Dave Smalley is a seminal figure in US punk rock having been a founder member of Boston hardcore band DYS before joining up with DAG NASTY, then ALL for a time, then founding the mighty DOWN BY LAW (who some of you will have seen in Hull in 2014) who are still making amazing records and touring to this day. I suspect there may be a few tunes from his extensive catalogue a long with the new album with The Bandoleros (see link below).

also on the bill are Hull’s very own THE ZYNX, to play you a snapshot of their repertoire of classic 70’s punk and New Wave.

And opening up the show we have an example of the new blood in the local punk scene in the shape of UNWIRED SOCIETY with their Green Day and Blink 182 inspired pop punk.
All in All (no pun intended) it is a veritable treat and continues the quite incredible run of punk rock shows going on in Hull just now, and the exceptional value they are…….come and join the fun.
