No Enemies No Strangers presents the second of two summertime Reggae specials!

Captain Accident & The Disasters

Cardiff multi-instrumentalist Captain Accident brings his lush self-produced soulful Reggae recordings to life with the help of his backing band, The Disasters. We first met these guys about 4 or 5 years ago and have been trying to book them ever since! It would have been sooner but it was difficult to find a date that worked, because their diaries have been packed out – touring with Jamaican legends Toots & The Maytals (twice), support slots with Aswad, Chaka Demus & Pliers, and Mad Professor (among many others), and appearances at just about every festival on the UK circuit. This will definitely have been worth the wait!

Concrete Rose

Including members of Unknown Era and Ferocious Dog, you could call them something of a supergroup – one that has made big waves in the short time they have been together. Already attracting bookings for venues and festivals outside their hometown of Nottingham, and with a BBC Introducing live session in the can, it’s only a matter of time before Concrete Rose become a regular fixture on the UK Reggae festival scene with their particularly upbeat yet mellow take on the genre.
