£3 Advance Tickets/£5 on the door
To celebrate their first full album that has been 3 years in the making, (and some of the songs on it were written long before that) Bizarre Fae is putting on a headline show to perform the tracks and share them with the world. Revolting is an anthology of stories that display the spiral into villainy by our faerie antagonist. Feeling hopeless to prevent the pain others inflict on them, they delve into the darkness of their own soul to instigate balance between themself and the evil of the world surrounding them with a heady mix of heartfelt ballads, anti-pop energy and raw uncontrollable rage! Tackling issues around the patriarchy, misogyny, relationships, self-worth and mental health, Bizarre Fae is never afraid to tackle subjects that may offend and disgust all while remaining authentically original and unique and swearing a lot along the way.
Supporting them on stage will be their fellow Warren Records label-mate and the city’s official answer to The Streets, the one and only Jodie Langford, who will be spewing her flavourful brand of spoken word/ranting, spiked tongue firmly lodged in her cheek as she frenetically darts around the stage in some cool shades and a top that barely holds her modesty!
Also on the bill, from Warren Records, will be the incredible Trouser Dress, another artist that isn’t afraid to put themselves out there and share deeply personal stories with a delicacy that is heart-warming to watch. Their songs are as catchy as they are poignant. They may even fly off on tangents between songs, lovingly over-sharing information relating to their current hyper fixation.
