Chiedu performed live at the star studded night in Liverpool on Thursday. “Lyrical artist and leading figure in Northern rap, Chiedu Oraka, from Hull, brought his high-octane performance, genre-defying talent and impactful social poetry to the Northern Music Awards stage at the Liverpool Olympia on March 27th”.

The Northern Music Awards recognise the North’s very best artists, bands, DJs and industry figures at the historic Liverpool Olympia. Hosted by BBC Radio 6 Music’s Chris Hawkins. The evening enjoyed exclusive performances from Blossoms, Lightning Seeds, The Zutons, Luvcat, Chiedu Oraka, along with very special guest and Northern Music Award winner Dr. John Cooper Clarke.

The evening, sponsored by Nordoff and Robbins, helped raise money to bring more music therapy to the North of England, and improve the health and wellbeing of local people.
