UK Anti-folk, legends David Cronenbergs Wife are undoubtedly the countries coolest band. After wowing a packed Adelphi audience last year, DCW vowed to revisit the city in its year of culture and will make good on their promise. Hailing from London DCW are a key player in the UK anti-folk scene. With regular airplay from BBC6 music and heaps of media and record label interest, this is the band to watch. Described by Mark Lamarr as “where genius meets idiocy” on BBC2 radio. Think post punk, think The Fall. These guys are %100 the real deal.

Support is from Hull’s own avant-garde, chicken in a basket, entertainers, Black Kes. Black Kes are like if The Grumbleweeds really got in to Roxy Music, Bowie and Can and wrote songs like Bob Dylan. Witnessing is believing.
