After the recent news of Welly and Polar Bear’s closure the guys at The Sesh have been busy securing the future for the legacy they’ve built over the last 18 years. And of course, we’ll stand by them and help every step of the way!
So, we’re very pleased to announce that we’ll be hosting one of their live-streams from inside The Adelphi on 28th July 8.00pm. With performances from FEVER ( @feverbanduk )and Aimee Duncan ( @aimeefatale )
So don’t forget to tune in and also donate to the crowdfunder to ensure that these great shows can continue and the very talented staff get paid for their efforts.
Also, don’t miss The Adelphi Archived Posters released every Monday at noon.
So far, we’ve had Pavement, Oasis, Idles, Pulp, The Stone Roses and The Housemartins.

The song was the last ever performed live with missing guitarist and lyricist Richey James Edwards. As a foursome the band played the song as set-closer for their sell-out final gig at the London Astoria just five weeks before Edwards vanished.
Special Adelphi Poster with 279 bands included…
We have produced a special Adelphi poster for ardent offbeat music lovers. The artwork is a celebration of the Hull music scene since 1984 and includes a small selection of the 30,000 artists who have played live at the venue over the last 36 years. The 279 featured on this limited edition release are less than 1% of the artists to have played the club (0.85%). They include local, national and international emerging artists with some big names from Sheffield, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Hull. It’s a little unique piece of local history.
