The Pub Corner Poets: Nominated for Total Theatre’s emerging theatre company of the year 2015, The PCP are the winners of The times playwriting award and the creators of ANGRY and they are The Adelphi’s resident theatre company and boy do they have a treat for you this week!

Known for performing at Latitude Festival and all around East Anglia, Piers Harrison-Reid performs his timeless and thought-provoking poetry for the first time in Hull, live at the Adelphi WEDNESDAY 16th NOV.

The inspiration behind his poetry is love; love of nature, romance, friendship and family. This is a theme which has been intensified dramatically by his experiences in nursing and his work has now become focused around love in relation to healthcare, humanity and death.
Piers was also the Essex slam champion of 2012 and has supported the likes of Dean Atta, Mark Grist, Scroobius Pip and Buddy Wakefield.

His thoughtful, evocative and powerful poetry will blow, open and change your mind.

Not necessarily in that order.

PCP are also honoured to present support from local poets Matt Nicholson and Oli Harvey, who really shape this line-up into a gig to remember.
