Well done to everyone that entered the Pumpkin Carving Comp; we had 22 entries and all were frighteningly good.

Overall winner Will Chalk said: “I’m really happy to win. I did my first pumpkin in this style several years ago and every year I learn a bit more and apply that to the next design. I wouldn’t have been able to attempt anything so complex before, so it’s nice that all the effort has been recognised with a certificate and an Adelphi T-shirt – I’ll be wearing it tonight for the Residents Association Halloween special.”

“It was also great to meet Gareth, share ideas and techniques, and see his design up close. He works in a similar style but it’s much more refined than mine so I’m already thinking about next year!”
