Guitar- wielding girl band The Big Moon are on the way to Hull’s Adelphi as part of their debut headline tour, and they’re bringing their crisps with them. The London-based four-piece, who have supported the Maccabees and the Vaccines on tour at Brixton Academy and Manchester’s Albert Hall, have decided it’s time to strike out on their own and go around the country on their own terms. The tour, which starts on Wednesday, March 30, has Hull as its second date. “We’ve never been to Hull,” says Celia, the band’s bassist. “It’s exciting to play places we’ve never been to and to see what the crowds are like. We’ve heard some really good things about Adelphi, too.”
